The Interview!

Welcome to the K&P &Blog over the course of next few months we will dive into topics that have some value, & some that may not have any value at all, just fun things to talk about, a bearing on what we David & Thad perceive as having some measured impact to the new world of marketing.

So, pray tell why now?

Thaddeus

Well, I feel that game of marketing has changed so much, in so many ways that the game of marketing has new rules, rules that need to be challenged & possibly broken.

Thad

What do you mean?

Thaddeus

For me marketing was always about developing a relationship with the brand, then for the brand to develop & grow the client relationship. I see a negative shift from an integrated marketing end user targeted/focused model to more of a silo-based marketing effort.

Thad

Silo based?

Thaddeus

Yea, silo, towers that had at one time been linked by a message, a connecting messaging rampart are now in my view, stand-alone silo’s. The integrated messaging that once acted as the rampart is gone. I see today’s rampart more like wooden split rail fences that define the vertical (via messaging) but are easy to escape & do not contain the customer.

So, why get back in now?

Thaddeus

I was never out; I just changed my skill set to targeted smaller firms (SME’s if you like) then the international giants I had once work with. I also looked to the forensics analysis of failed & successful marketing efforts & analyzed what went right & what went wrong. I think now, the time has come to converge my marketing, creative & analytical skill sets onto one, hence Kubis & Prusko.

Who is Prusko?

Thaddeus

AKA David, David is an extremely talented, creative, designer, an independent, original thinker, a marketer with a broad skill set. We shared a common dream, when we worked together as Professors while at The New York City College of Technology. We both also felt that the balance our professional, in the “real world” & the education aspect of our joint past would be very beneficial in the development of new business model, add that up you have Kubis & Prusko the consultant agency!
